Fort Calhoun Homecoming Parade
Washington County Bank proudly showcased our homecoming spirit at the Fort Calhoun Homecoming Parade. It was a beautiful day to celebrate the community and support our local Fort Calhoun school. Thank you to our employees for volunteering for this fun event!
We hope the Fort Calhoun Students had a fun 2018 Homecoming week with the dress up days, parade, pep rally and football game. Congratulations to the Pioneer Football Team on their 41-12 win over Loiusville, to all of the Homecoming Royalty and to the Homecoming Queen and King, Delaney Bruening and Zane Fickbohm, and Prince and Princess, Nolyn Appel and Hanna Nieto.
Bronze Star and Get Smart About Credit Awards
Washington County Bank received two awards May 3rd, 2019, at the Nebraska Bankers Association convention - Personal Economics Program (PEP) Bronze Star and Get Smart About Credit. These awards wouldn’t be possible without the many dedicated employees we have in Blair, Fort Calhoun and Tekamah who volunteer to teach financial education programs to community groups and schools.
Congratulations 2019 Scholarship Winners
Since 2012, Washington County Bank has been proudly donating all proceeds from the Blair High School ATM to local students in the form of scholarships. Congratulations to our Class of 2019 Scholarship Recipients: Evan Slominski, Quinton Roeder, Averie Lawson, Nolan Dawson, and Ashley Clark
Washington County Bank employees worked together to pick up trash and clean a 2-mile stretch on Highway 133 as part of the Adopt-A-Highway program. The team was happy to report that many bags of trash were collected with many other interesting items! We are proud of our volunteers who participated in this year’s clean-up event.
