Washington County Bank is proud to announce that Cody Carritt and Mike Tupa have qualified for the 2018 Nebraska Mortgage Association (NMA) Champions Circle. The NMA Champions Circle recognizes and celebrates the service, dedication, and hard work that leading mortgage professionals put into serving their clients during the home loan process.

Fort Calhoun Homecoming Parade

Washington County Bank proudly showcased our homecoming spirit at the Fort Calhoun Homecoming Parade. It was a beautiful day to celebrate the community and support our local Fort Calhoun school. Thank you to our employees for volunteering for this fun event! 

We hope the Fort Calhoun Students had a fun 2018 Homecoming week with the dress up days, parade, pep rally and football game. Congratulations to the Pioneer Football Team on their 41-12 win over Loiusville, to all of the Homecoming Royalty and to the Homecoming Queen and King, Delaney Bruening and Zane Fickbohm, and Prince and Princess, Nolyn Appel and Hanna Nieto.

The Nebraska Bankers Association (NBA) honored bankers for their leadership and contributions to the financial services industry during the association’s annual convention May 3-4 at the Embassy Suites in La Vista. Washington County Bank was recognized with the “Personal Economics Program Bronze Star” award for our dedicated teams that offer their time to teach financial education to community groups and schools.

Congratulations 2018 Scholarship Winners

Since 2012, Washington County Bank has been proudly donating all proceeds from the Blair High School ATM to local students, in the form of scholarships, to seniors who have become EverFi Financial Literacy certified. This year, $1,000 in scholarships was awarded. Congratulations to Anna Vaughn, Josie Anderson, Colby Camelin, Delanie Johnson, and Kelsey Roe. Congratulations graduates and best of luck with your future plans!

Highway Cleanup

Washington County Bank employees worked together to pick up trash and clean a 2-mile stretch on Highway 133 as part of the Adopt-A-Highway program. The team was happy to report that many bags of trash were collected with many other interesting items! We are proud of our volunteers who participated in this year’s clean-up event.

Washington County Bank is committed to the success of the communities we serve, and by investing in Habitat for Humanity in Washington County, we are taking steps to fulfill that commitment. We believe that affordable housing is important not only in Washington County, but across the country, and that is why we are a proud supporter.
