What is Priority Alerts?

Priority Alerts is a free service from Washington County that delivers e-mail alerts notifying you when important events occur on your accounts. You can sign up to receive e-mails when your statement information is available to view online, when your payments are due, when your payments have posted and more. Just select the alerts that are right for you.>/p>

Is there a cost to use Priority Alerts?

No, the Priority Alerts service is absolutely FREE to Washington County online customers.

How secure is Priority Alerts?

Alerts are sent to your e-mail address via unsecured e-mail. For that reason, we do not send confidential or personal information within the alert message.

When I receive an alert, how can I be sure it is from Washington County?

All alerts from Washington County will have Washington County in the From field of the e-mail message.

Is special software required to use Priority Alerts?

No, all you need to receive the alerts is a valid e-mail address.

Can I reply to an alert?

We ask that you please do not reply to the alert e-mails. If you have questions about the e-mail or the Priority Alerts service, please go to the Contact Us section of the site and use the secure e-mail function located there or call our Online Representatives 24 hour a day, seven days a week at 1-877-251-4363.

What should I do if I do not receive an alert?

If you have not received an alert, go to the View My Alerts page in the Priority Alerts section of the site to view all of the alerts you have set up on your accounts. If there is an alert on your list that you have not received, please call our Online Representatives 24 hour a day, seven days a week at 1-877-251-4363.

Can the bank terminate my ability to receive Priority Alerts?

Yes, the Priority Alert service and/or your ability to receive Priority Alerts, can be terminated. As stated in the Priority Alerts agreement, Washington County Bank reserves the right to terminate or change its Priority Alert without prior notice to you. Please view the Alert Disclosure on the Account Services page for additional information.

Setting Alerts

How do I sign up for Priority Alerts?

Signing up for Priority Alerts is simple. All you need is an account that is enrolled online and a valid e-mail address. Then just go to the Priority Alerts section of the site and in 3 easy steps you'll be managing your accounts with greater ease.

Can I receive alerts on all of my Washington County accounts?

Alerts are offered on the following types of accounts: credit cards, lines of credit, checking, savings, money markets, CDs and IRAs. We will be adding alerts for loans in the near future.

Can I choose which alerts I want for each of my accounts?

There are specific alerts available for each type of account. When you sign up for Priority Alerts, you can choose which alerts you want to receive for each of your enrolled accounts. We will only send you those alerts that you want, so you're always in control.

How do I change or delete the alerts I have already set up?

You can quickly and easily update the alerts you have already set up online. Just choose Set Alerts in the Priority Alerts section and select the account you want to update. Then just choose which alerts are right for you.

How do I set up a new alert?

If you would like to add a Priority Alert to one of your enrolled accounts, just choose Set Alerts in the Priority Alerts section and select the account you want to add an alert to. Then just choose which alerts you would like to add.

Can my alerts be sent to more than one e-mail address?

Yes, you can specify two e-mail addresses for each account you have enrolled online. When you set up your alerts, you can choose which e-mail address you would like the alert to be sent to.

How do I change the e-mail address(es) for my alerts?

To change your e-mail address(es) go to the Update Info section of the site.

Can I have my alerts sent to an International e-mail address?

Yes, any current e-mail address can be used.

Credit Card Alerts

What alerts are available for my credit card account?

You can choose any or all of the Priority Alerts below for your credit card account:

Statement Information Available
You'll be notified when your statement information is available to view online.

Payment Due
You can set this alert to notify you 5-15 business days before your credit card payment is due.

Payment Posted
You'll be notified when your credit card payment has posted to your account.

Payment Not Posted
You'll be notified when your credit card payment has posted to your account by the due date.

Nearing Credit Limit
You can set this alert to notify you when your credit card balance is within a certain dollar amount of your credit limit.

Credit Limit Exceeded
You can set this alert to notify you when you have exceeded your credit limit.

Credit Posted
You'll be notified when a credit posts to your credit card account.

Purchase Exceeds Set Amount
You can set this alert to notify you when a purchase exceeds an amount you specify.

When will the Statement Information Available alert be sent?

This alert will be sent once per billing cycle, the day your statement closes.

When will the Payment Due alert be sent?

This alert will be sent once per billing cycle in advance of the payment due date. The number of days in advance can be between 5 and 15 business days and will be determined by you when you set up the alert.

Will I receive more than one Payment Posted alert if more than one credit card payment is made to my account?

An alert will be sent each time a payment posts to your credit card account. If multiple payments are received the same day, the payments will be totaled and sent within one alert.

When will the Payment post?

An alert will be sent each time a payment posts to your credit card account. If multiple payments are received the same day, the payments will be totaled and sent within one alert.

Is there a limit to the number of merchants that will be displayed on the Credit Posted credit card alert?

Yes, up to 10 merchant credits will be displayed within the alert. If more than 10 merchant credits have posted to your account, you can log on to the site and view all of the credits in your Account Detail.

When will the Nearing Credit Limit alert be sent?

This alert will be sent when your credit card balance is within the dollar amount from your credit limit that you specify when you set up the alert.

When will I receive the Credit Limit Exceeded alert?

This alert will be sent when your credit balance exceeds your credit limit.

When will the Purchase Exceeds set Amount alert be sent?

This alert will be sent when a purchase has posted to your account that exceeds the dollar amount that you specify when you set up the alert.

Checking Alerts

What alerts are available for my checking account?

Statement Information Available
You'll be notified when your statement information is available to view online.

Balance Update
You can set this alert to notify you when the current balance on your checking account falls below a dollar amount that you specify when you set up the alert.

Deposit Received
You will be notified when a deposit has posted to your account.

Check Presented for Payment
You will be notified when your check(s) has been presented for payment. You can specify up to 3 checks to be monitored.

Nearing Potential Overdraft
You can set this alert to notify you when the available balance on your checking account, which may include any lines of credit or overdraft protection, falls below a dollar amount that you specify when you set up the alert.

Overdraft Protection Alert
You will be notified when an overdraft protection advance has been made you your account.

When is the Statement Information Available alert sent?

This alert will be sent once per statement cycle the day the statement closes.

When will the Balance Update alert be sent?

This alert will be sent when your checking account current balance falls below a dollar amount that you specify when you set up the alert. The current balance does not include any possible lines of credit or overdraft protection balances that may be available.

When will the Nearing Potential Overdraft alert be sent?

This alert will be sent when your checking account available balance falls below a dollar amount that you specify when you set up the alert. The available balance may include any lines of credit or overdraft protection balances that are available.

When will the Deposit Received alert be sent?

The alert will be sent when a deposit posts to your checking account. The alert will give the date of the deposit and the amount.

When will the Check Presented for Payment alert be sent?

The alert will be sent when a check you set-up for an alert has been presented for payment. The alerts will show the check number, date received, and amount of check.

When will the Overdraft Protection Activated alert be sent?

The alert will be sent when an overdraft transfer occurs.

Savings and Money Market Alerts

What alerts are available for my savings and money market accounts?

Statement Information Available
You'll be notified when your statement information is available to view online.

Balance Update
You can set this alert to notify you when your balance falls below a certain dollar amount that you specify.

Deposit Received
You will be notified when a deposit has posted to your account.

Savings Withdrawal Limit Reached
You will be notified when the maximum number of free savings account withdrawals is reached.

When is the Statement Information Available alert sent?

This alert will be sent once per statement cycle the day the statement closes.

When will the Balance Update alert be sent?

This alert will be sent when your savings or money market account balance falls below a dollar amount that you specify when you set up the alert.

When will the Deposit Received alert be sent?

The alert will be sent when a deposit posts to your savings account. The alert will give the date of the deposit and the amount.

When will the Saving Withdrawal Limit Reached alert be sent?

The alert will be sent when you reach the maximum number of free withdrawals allowed on your savings account.

CD and IRA Alerts

What alerts are available for my CDs and IRAs?

Maturity Date
You'll be notified 10 business days before your Certificate of Deposit or IRA matures.

Interest Paid
You'll be notified when interest is paid to your Certificate of Deposit or IRA.

When will the Maturity Date alert be sent?

This alert will be sent 10 business days prior to each maturity date that the account attains while it is open.

How often will the Interest Paid Alert be sent?

This alert will be sent each time that interest posts to the account.

Can I respond to the Maturity Date e-mail with instructions for handling my CD?

This alert is just a reminder and should not be replied to. If your CD is set to automatically renew upon maturity, it will renew for the same term if we do not hear from you. If you would like to contact someone about your CD, please call our Online Representatives 24 hours a day, seven days a week at 1-877-251-4363.

What alerts are available for my line of credit account?

You can choose any or all of the Priority Alerts below for your line of credit account:

Statement Information Available
You'll be notified when your statement information is available to view online.

Payment Due
You can set this alert to notify you 5-10 business days before your line of credit payment is due.

Payment Posted
You'll be notified when your line of credit payment has posted to your account.

Nearing Credit Limit
You can set this alert to notify you when your line of credit account balance is within a certain dollar amount of your credit limit.

Credit Advance
You will be notified when a line of credit advance is made to your checking account.

When will the Statement Information Available alert be sent?

This alert will be sent once per billing cycle the day your statement closes.

When will the Payment Due alert be sent?

This alert will be sent once per billing cycle in advance of the payment due date. The number of days in advance can be between 5 and 15 days and will be set by you when you set up the alert.

Will I receive more than one Payment Posted alert if more than one payment is made to my account?

If multiple payments are made during the same day, only the last payment amount will be included in the alert. But, you can view all of your payments when you log on to the site and view your Account Detail.

When will the Nearing Credit Limit alert be sent?

This alert will be sent when your line of credit balance is within the dollar amount from your credit limit that you specify when you set up the alert.

When will the Credit Advance alert be sent?

This alert will be sent each time your line of credit account advances to your checking account. If more than one advance is made in the same day, the total of all advances that day will be sent in the alert.
