Washington County Bank

PIN (Personal Identification Number)

What is a PIN?

Your Personal Identification Number (PIN) is a security code that allows Washington County Bank to verify that a request to access your account is authorized by you. Your confidential PIN prevents unauthorized use and ensures complete security when making transactions on your accounts.

How do I select a PIN?

To select a PIN for your Credit Card, Visa Check/ATM Card, simply go to the PIN Request page within the Account Services section.

  • When selecting a PIN, use something that is not easily guessed - avoid birthdays and addresses.
  • Use different PINS for each account.
  • Memorize your PIN. Do not write it on the back of your card or keep it with you.
  • Since the PIN is for security purposes, you should not disclose it to anyone.
  • To select a PIN, please refer to the PIN Request pages within Account Services.
Can I change my PIN?

Yes. You can request a PIN form in the Update Information section of 24-Hour Banker Online.

When will I receive my PIN?

You will either receive your PIN number immediately online or you may be contacted for additional information. If you have not received your PIN within 10 business days, please call an Online Representative at (402) 426-2111 to assist you.
