Washington County Bank is very dedicated to providing learning opportunities for members through their guidance and encouragement. Their exemplary support of the Blair chapter of FBLA includes providing speakers for Career Night, offering tours of their facility, providing speakers at chapter meetings, and serving as an event sponsor for Nebraska FBLA. The bank also supports the cooperative education program and is a strong partner with Blair Community Schools. In addition, Doug Demers has served on the local FBLA Business Advisory Council and has provided many hours of service to Blair chapter members.
In their support and assistance to education and the community, employees of Washington County Bank are encouraged to become involved in local civic and community organizations; their involvement and support reaches almost 30 different organizations with over 3,000 hours of volunteer service during a single year. The bank is involved in many educational programs that promote financial awareness for students in our community.
